The Western Pediatric Surgery Research Consortium (WPSRC) is a multi-institutional surgical collaborative committed to advancing the care of infants and children through contemporary evidence-based research.

COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH

The Western Pediatric Surgery Research Consortium was established in 2017, to advance the science and practice of pediatric surgery through high-quality collaborative research. The Consortium has 10 participating departments of pediatric surgery from across the Western United States, dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care and pediatric research. The Consortium seeks to leverage the expertise and clinical volume of participating children’s hospitals by providing an organizational structure to successfully perform studies of surgical problems and diseases that would not be feasible at a single institution.
